Associate

Overview

Associate role focused on customer adoption of a platform for electric grid operations. You embed at customer sites to capture friction, translate it into engineering-ready feedback, and present outcomes to senior leadership.

What you'll do

• Deploy on-site with customer utilities for extended stretches and work from their offices.
• Observe Directors, CGMs, and engineering teams using the platform and record friction points.
• Write structured client visit notes to separate UI/UX issues, broken functionality, and flawed analytical logic.
• Own the feedback loop by pushing back on roadmap gaps and closing the loop after features ship.
• Map customer organization dynamics, including decision points and embedded consultants.
• Present to senior leadership (including Chairmen, Directors, and IAS officers) and run demos.
• Chase validation by getting customers to test outputs against their own data and create proof of value.

What you'll need

• 2-5 years of experience at a top-tier consulting firm, research/policy institution, development finance/multilateral organisation, or a customer-facing high-growth startup role.
• Exceptional written communication.
• Technical curiosity to understand metrics, customer distrust, and explain differences to both sides.
• A bias toward ownership.
• Fluency with AI tooling as a force multiplier.

Nice to have

• Prior exposure to power/energy/infrastructure, especially state utilities.
• Comfort working with data.
• Regional language ability in states where deployment occurs.
