Associate Analyst, Paraplanner

Overview

Support the UK-based Paraplanning team from Mumbai by collating financial product data and preparing research and client documents for UK Independent Financial Advisers.

What you'll do

• Collate UK pension and investment product data via email and telephone for analysis.
• Prepare product research to support financial recommendations.
• Compile client-facing research summary documents with accurate presentation of data.
• Prepare new business documents.
• Prepare financial reports.
• Submit business via online portals.
• Update workflow management systems.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

What you'll need

• Preferably 1-2 years of experience in the UK financial services market, including UK pensions, investments and protection products.
• Preferably paraplanning experience within the UK market.
• IT literate.
• Motivation for a career within the financial services industry.
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and a positive, self-motivated attitude.
• Keen eye for detail and a solid grasp of UK grammar.
• Clear and fluent English.
• Ability to work within a team or independently, managing own workflow and tasks efficiently.
• Willingness to keep up to date with UK-based technical, taxation, legislation, product and provider changes.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of one or more of: Selectapension, Synaptics, Defaqto, FE Analytics, Morningstar Workstation (training will be provided).

Details

• Location: Goregaon (East), Mumbai.
• Shift: EMEA, 1:30 pm - 10:30 pm IST.
• Reporting to: Assistant Manager, Paraplanner.
• Full training on relevant product and research software will be provided.
• Company intends to support successful candidates through six CII-accredited RO exams leading to a Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
