Overview

Associate Applied (AI) Value Engineer (DACH) in Celonis’ Value Engineering team, focused on solving customer business problems at the intersection of technology and business.

What you'll do

• Understand customers’ AI strategy and business-critical challenges.
• Translate customer requirements into AI-enabled solutions using Celonis Process Intelligence.
• Prototype and build AI solutions in customer hackathons.
• Support customers to achieve ROI from AI deployments at scale.
• Execute end-to-end Proof-of-Value projects and align solutions with customer AI strategy.
• Deliver business impact presentations for senior executives and support value realization through adoption thresholds.
• Contribute reusable best practices, collateral, and tools to the global Value Engineering Center of Excellence.

What you'll need

• Degree in engineering, data analytics/science, computer science, mathematics, or a related STEM field.
• Excellent academic performance.
• Either extensive internship experience or 1–2 years of full-time work experience.
• Understanding of generative AI techniques (e.g., RAG, few-shot learning, prompt/context engineering, multi-agent orchestration, multimodal understanding, or fine-tuning).
• Good knowledge of Python and common ML libraries (e.g., LangChain, pandas, pydantic, sklearn, PyTorch).
• Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills applied to business challenges.
• Fluency in German and English (must).

Details

• Location: Munich, Germany.
• Onboarding period in Madrid for 2 years, with possible relocation to Munich afterward.
• Customer base in Germany/DACH area, with travel to meet clients in person.
