Overview
The Operations Finance Associate supports Operations Finance through financial planning, analysis, reporting, and business partnering, helping teams make decisions and maintain financial discipline.
What you'll do
- Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for Operations Finance.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports with variance and trend analysis.
- Partner with Operations stakeholders to understand key drivers, cost trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support expense management, cost center analysis, headcount tracking, and capital planning.
- Analyze actuals vs budget/forecast/prior periods and identify key variances with insights.
- Assist with management presentations and business review materials.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities including accruals, journal review, reconciliations, and validation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and corporate finance requirements.
What you'll need
- Knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and operational performance management.
- Experience supporting financial planning and long-range planning activities for Operations Finance.
- Ability to prepare financial reports including variance and trend analysis.
- Ability to partner with Operations stakeholders on cost, risk, and opportunity insights.
- Experience with expense management, cost center analysis, headcount tracking, and capital planning.
- Experience analyzing actual results vs budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Knowledge of month-end/quarter-end close tasks such as accruals, journal entry review, reconciliations, and validation.
