Overview

Associate in Core Banking/FS Tech Advisory focused on optimizing retail banking processes across deposits, lending, and payments for seamless integration and operational efficiency.

What you'll do

• Own and optimize retail banking processes for Deposits (CASA/TD/RD), Lending (PL/Auto/Home/Cards), and Payments (UPI/IMPS/NEFT/RTGS/Cards/ACH) from discovery through improvement.
• Map and analyze AS-IS processes for deposits (CBS), lending workflows (LOS/LMS), or payment journeys.
• Design TO-BE processes aligned to regulatory standards and guidelines (RBI, KYC/AML, FATCA/CRS, NPCI, Fair Practices Code, IRAC).
• Define and document BRD/FRD, process maps (BPMN), SOPs, SLAs, and control frameworks.
• Plan and execute UAT, manage defect triage, and support production cutover readiness including test scenarios (e.g., chargebacks, reversals, NPA tagging).
• Implement and track process metrics and drive continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma.
• Prepare training materials and support change adoption for business and operations teams.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of retail banking process consulting with exposure to Deposits, Lending, or Payments.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate business needs into functional requirements.
• Regulatory & compliance knowledge including RBI, KYC/AML, FATCA/CRS, NPCI guidelines, Fair Practices Code, IRAC/NPA norms, and card dispute/chargeback rules.
• Hands-on experience documenting BRD/FRD, BPMN mapping, SOPs, and leading UAT.
• Mandatory skill set includes Core Banking and BA.
• Strong exposure to Excel and PowerPoint for management communication.
• Education: BE/Btech/MBA; Degrees/Field of Study required: MBA or Bachelor of Engineering.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Core Systems across deposits/lending/payments and integration touchpoints.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt awareness (for debit card/linked payments).
