Associate Data Engineer

Overview

Associate Data Engineer role focused on running and improving cloud-based data pipelines to ensure timely, high-quality data delivery across global markets.

What you'll do

• Implement and monitor end-to-end data pipelines and ETL jobs across multiple stages.
• Maintain and modify Python-based data transformation scripts to improve data quality and performance.
• Manage data storage and protected data exchanges in AWS S3, Redshift, and EMR.
• Trigger and validate jobs using Postman and other API interfaces to maintain schedules.
• Track file transfers, log exceptions, and maintain observability to prevent data breaks.
• Investigate pipeline failures or delays, remediate root causes, and reduce repeat incidents.

What you'll need

• Python using PyCharm, Pandas, and PySpark for maintaining ETL and automation routines.
• Postman for testing and triggering API-based job executions.
• SQL proficiency using tools such as DBeaver to query and validate relational data.
• AWS services proficiency across Redshift, S3, and EMR.
• WinSCP or equivalent tools for secure file transfers.
• Proactive, structured monitoring and troubleshooting approach.
• Strong programming and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
