Associate Director - Entertainment Ad Sales, Tamil and Malayalam

Overview

Associate Director role focused on driving revenue and growth targets for TV advertisers in the Entertainment category for Tamil and Malayalam accounts.

What you'll do

• Own revenue targets for key accounts within the Entertainment Business in a specific industry.
• Maximize revenue potential and maintain sales positioning for JioStar.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and proactively highlight roadblocks.
• Manage stakeholder relationships end to end with minimum supervision.
• Drive deeper client interactions, including case studies and client interviews.
• Execute joint business plans and maintain monthly run rates.
• Work with cross-functional ads revenue teams to conceptualize and execute deals.

What you'll need

• Experience with key account management principles and consultative selling.
• Ability to build categories/brands and achieve sales targets.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfort using data and analytics in client conversations at the deal level.
• Ability to leverage relationships, build a network, and negotiate effectively.
• Persistence to drive sales from exploration to deal closures.
• Prefer a Bachelor’s degree with 10-12 years in a fast-paced industry.
• Solid understanding of TV or digital landscape.
