Associate, Disputes and Fraud Analysis

Overview

Support clients' debit, credit, and prepaid card chargeback programs by investigating disputes and possible fraud and determining appropriate resolutions.

What you'll do

• Investigate, evaluate, and process disputes and chargebacks.
• Contact cardholders regarding possible fraud.
• Apply compliance, verification, network, and client requirements.
• Monitor systems for potentially fraudulent card activity.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls with clients and cardholders.
• Track cases within regulatory and client-defined timeframes.
• Respond to stakeholder questions about disputes, processing, and case status.

What you'll need

• 0–2 years of financial or customer service experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills with a minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.
• Ability to prioritize workload.
• Ability to work collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Regulation E and Regulation Z.
• Knowledge of Visa or Mastercard operating regulations.
• Experience with electronic funds transfer.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
