Associate Engineer

Overview

Associate Engineer supporting engineering change management and BOM updates for Large Power Systems products (reciprocating engines & gensets) in manufacturing.

What you'll do

• Support the change management process for engine and genset introductions and regular production.
• Resolve shop floor issues with high velocity by providing engineering support.
• Perform BOM updates/changes in the CBS (SAP) system per product engineering specifications.
• Coordinate cross-functional reviews to drive timely resolution of ECN, BOM, and production readiness actions.
• Process change notifications (PACN/PLACN/EDS Notification/job number) and determine required facility change actions.
• Implement CBS system updates using standard procedures and manage actions through effectivity dates.
• Document and maintain the change process and tools with metrics to support improvement opportunities.

What you'll need

• Experience working on Power Systems Design/Development/Manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in change management and tools like CBS.
• Working knowledge of ProE and TeamCenter and other design/BOM management tools.
• Knowledge of New Product Introduction and current product issue resolution processes.
• Data gathering and analysis knowledge to collect and synthesize data from stakeholders.
• Analytical thinking ability to determine root cause and alternative solutions.
• Effective communication and coordination skills to deliver feedback and present/write reports.

• This position requires working onsite five days a week.
• Relocation is available for this position.
