Associate Engineer-Mechanical Design

Overview

Support day-to-day mechanical design activities for assigned aerospace engineering programs, creating and maintaining 3D models and engineering documentation within a regulated, quality-driven environment.

What you'll do

• Support all day-to-day mechanical design activities for assigned engineering programs in alignment with organizational standards and project schedules.
• Create and maintain 3D models, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation using UG NX.
• Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), tolerance analysis, and material selection best practices.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Site Program Engineers to resolve design issues.
• Support concept development, design maturation, and release activities across the product lifecycle.
• Evaluate materials with respect to lifecycle performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Apply analytical thinking and structured problem-solving to drive technically sound design decisions.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree (full-time) in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in mechanical design or related engineering roles.
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with UG NX (Mechanical and/or Electrical), mandatory.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in accordance with applicable export control and regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

• Exposure to UG NX Electrical Routing and block diagram creation.
• Experience with composites and aluminium alloys.
• Background in Aerospace or Automotive interior design.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.
• Innovative mindset grounded in strong engineering fundamentals and attention to detail.
