Associate – FDD, Transaction Services, Advisory

Overview

Associate role in PwC’s Financial Due Diligence (FDD) team within Deals Transaction Services, supporting analysis for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and related capital markets matters.

What you'll do

• Analyse financial information including quality of earnings, assets, cash flows, and other key deal issues.
• Assess financial, commercial, operational, and strategic assumptions made in transactions.
• Independently manage projects of medium to large complexity.
• Identify issues for purchase price adjustments, working capital adjustments, and debt-like adjustments.
• Independently write deliverables and articulate point of views.
• Build strong internal connections within the organization.

What you'll need

• 0-1 years of experience.
• Strong audit-related skills.
• Technically sound in Indian GAAP/Indian Accounting standards.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).
• Chartered Accountant (CA) education qualification.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with statutory audit.
• Experience/skills related to financial due diligence and deal management (from preferred skills list).
