Overview

Associate in PwC’s Internal Audit Services within Advisory, focused on delivering internal audit and assessing financial statements, internal controls, and related information.

What you'll do

• Evaluate compliance with regulations, including governance and risk management processes and related controls.
• Build, optimise, and deliver end-to-end internal audit services for clients across industries.
• Support internal audit function setup and transformation, including co-sourcing, outsourcing, and managed services.
• Use AI and other risk technology and delivery models in internal audit services.
• Assess internal control concepts such as preventive controls, detective controls, risk assessment, and anti-fraud controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on complex assessment issues and develop recommendations.
• Document findings, propose recommendations addressing root causes, and report status.

What you'll need

• 0–1 years of experience in internal audit/process audit concepts and methodology.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX) and SOX/IFC reviews and internal policies/procedures (SOP’s).
• Working knowledge of internal control concepts including preventive and detective controls and anti-fraud controls.
• Experience using IT systems/ERP environments.
• Knowledge of applicable common laws (examples mentioned: Income Tax Act 1967, Companies Act 1956, Prevention of Food Adulteration Act).
• Ability to assist with timely completion of tasks and development of client deliverables.
