Associate Index Calculation and Distribution Specialist (Associate ICAD Specialist)

Overview

Support daily calculation, QA validations, and distribution of S&P Dow Jones equity index data for the Index Calculation and Distribution team in Asia and EMEA.

What you'll do

• Calculate S&P DJI branded indices on a daily basis.
• Run QA validations to ensure accuracy and integrity of distributed index values.
• Monitor real-time index calculation and distribution channels and investigate alerts and price/index changes.
• Update and recalculate multi-asset methodology component indices when underlying values change, escalating where required.
• Coordinate with technology and production support groups to automate, enhance systems, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Maintain key relationships across internal groups, including Client Coverage, Index Services, and IT Support.

What you'll need

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a financial services or analytics role.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and company fundamentals.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative capability to solve non-routine problems in a timely manner.
• Ability to understand complex spreadsheet models and calculation algorithms.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and Access and data vendor tools such as Reuters, FactSet, and Wind.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
