Software Factory Architect (Lead Developer) – Vehicle Motion (VM)

Overview

Hands-on Software Factory Architect responsible for defining, developing, and deploying a global developer platform for the Vehicle Motion business unit.

What you'll do

• Define and standardize developer environment experiences using Visual Studio Code, GitHub Copilot, and DevContainers.
• Design and build CI/CT automation using GitHub Actions and self-hosted runners.
• Engineer build and dependency structures using Conan Make, custom build scripts, and MTC.
• Integrate safety-critical testing and simulation frameworks including Cantata and ECU-TEST.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Python, PowerShell, and Docker containers.
• Embed security scanning and compliance checks into the automated pipeline.
• Establish governance, standards, metrics/monitoring, and coaching to improve developer productivity.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of hands-on software development and platform engineering experience.
• Strong software architecture foundation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
