Associate Project Manager

Overview

Lead the execution of small, low-complexity projects within ABB's Electrification business in the Distribution Solutions division, based onsite in Nashik, India, reporting to the Head - Project Management.

What you'll do

• Lead the project team allocated to the project.
• Ensure all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets.
• Define and apply basic project scheduling techniques to manage schedule risks in advance.
• Monitor and control project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
• Identify, qualify, quantify and manage project risk, ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Manage the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, in accordance with the contract.

What you'll need

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (should be full-time).
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in project management and order execution.
• Understanding of technical requirements and ensuring project deliverables align with customer specifications and contractual requirements.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and control to ensure timely delivery.
• Effective stakeholder management skills, including coordination with internal teams, customers, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ability to perform risk assessments, resolve project issues, and adopt a customer-centric approach to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Experience in the Utilities, Public Sector, and Industries segments, with Medium Voltage Switchgear (PGIS) products.
• Knowledge of SAP-SD (ERP system).
