Associate Quality Engineer

Overview

Associate Quality Engineer to support supplier quality and business quality processes in Eaton’s Global Supply Chain Quality CoE in Pune.

What you'll do

• Track, monitor, and coordinate supplier poor-quality cost recovery approvals in the system.
• Achieve DMR chargeback goals and act as the COPQ process SPOC for business teams.
• Review/verify invoices and update recovery status in master trackers for timely business reporting.
• Perform QC checks and maintain records per ISO guidelines, including debit memo creation in Finance ERP.
• Support supplier and plant trainings on the DMR fee process and manage ASL supplier master data.
• Process reporting on DMR count, debit memos, and compile management reports from supplier quality systems.

What you'll need

• 2–4 years of experience as a supplier quality engineer, data analyst, or in quality domain.
• Prefer BE in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Production.
• Expertise in MS-Office and time management/prioritization skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and make decisions.
• Knowledge of basic problem-solving techniques and quality tools, including Kaizen.
• Familiarity with systems/apps including Mapics, Cognos, EPM, CSPS, ERP systems, Oracle, and BI applications.
• Good communication skills; must be able to speak/write English fluently.
