Associate Software Engineer

Overview

Maintain, optimize and build components for multi-terabyte operational marketing databases integrated with cloud technologies, with a focus on monitoring and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server database solutions.

What you'll do

• Monitor and debug automation and scheduled jobs.
• Maintain and write basic SQL scripts in Microsoft SQL Server for data analysis and data extract.
• Understand and debug ETL flow.
• Maintain data mart extraction processes.
• Perform quality assurance and testing at the unit level.
• Write user and technical documentation.
• Communicate efficiently with various stakeholders such as client, IT team and dev teams.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Database: SQL Server.
• Scripting: Python and SQL.
• General: Microsoft Office.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Python.
• Google Cloud.
• Snowflake and Cisco Tidal (automation tool).
• Redshift DB.
• JIRA.
• Client-facing skills.

Details

• Location: DGS India - Mumbai - Thane Ashar IT Park; candidates from Mumbai only, specifically Thane.
• Working in client-specific time zones and rotational shifts as required, including weekend support (24x7 team).
• Full time, permanent contract.
