Associate Solutions Engineer- (Manufacturing) - Night Shift

Overview

Support quoting and design-for-manufacturability reviews for custom manufacturing parts, including CNC machining and 3D printing. Work with customers and internal teams while developing toward independent ownership of quoting and DFM work.

What you'll do

• Prepare cost estimates for CNC machining and other manufacturing parts.
• Perform DFM reviews and suggest design or process adjustments.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and material requirements.
• Communicate with customers about routine clarifications and quoting updates.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Sourcing, Quality, and Logistics.
• Generate 2D drawings following ANSI/ASME Y14.5 standards.
• Maintain records of quoting analysis and contribute to the QMS.

What you'll need

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, quoting, design, or related engineering work.
• A 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical training.
• Working familiarity with CNC machining and 3D printing.
• Understanding of GD&T and coordinate tolerancing.
• Knowledge of common metals and plastics, including their manufacturability limitations.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to sheet metal, urethane casting, or injection molding.
