Solutions Engineer

Overview

Solutions Engineer role at HPE, designed as onsite, focused on coding, testing and integrating systems software and solutions.

What you'll do

• Code and program enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of systems software.
• Analyze design and determine the coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
• Perform detailed design of the software/application module.
• Define test plans and unit/functional test cases for the software developed and its integration into the overall solution.
• Execute established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identify, log, and debug assigned issues.
• Participate as a member of a project team with other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately complex products.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically 2-4 years experience.
• Software development experience in Python, Ansible and test automation.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Understanding of design for software systems running on multiple platform types.
• Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
• Basic understanding of Virtualization/Cloud and Data center management solutions.

• Onsite role with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office.
