Assurance Supervisor 1 - Construction & Government Contracting

Overview

Assurance Supervisor for Construction & Government Contracting, supporting client engagements through audit planning, execution, reporting, and associate supervision.

What you'll do

• Provide timely, high-quality client service as part of client engagement teams.
• Develop working relationships to understand and solve clients’ complex business and challenges.
• Perform audit procedures and tests per the RSM audit methodology and overall audit plan.
• Identify risks and accounting/auditing issues and discuss them with engagement teams.
• Prepare audit reports and management letters.
• Provide supervision, training, and development for associates.
• Coordinate audit work plan development and execution for client deliverables.

What you'll need

• Have a Bachelors in Commerce.
• Be a Qualified Chartered Accountant / ACCA / Licensed CPA.
• Have strong technical accounting skills including GAAP and GAAS.
• Have strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Have relevant experience: 6+ years if non-qualified, 4+ years if CA qualified, or 5+ years if ACCA/CPA qualified.

Nice to have

• Advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, basic formulas), plus Word and PowerPoint experience.
• Experience in the Construction & Government Contracting industry.
