Overview

Assurance Associate 2 for Financial Institutions, supporting audit teams with audit procedures, documentation, reporting support, and client service.

What you'll do

• Develop and apply understanding of the RSM US audit approach, methodology, and tools.
• Perform audit procedures and tests per the overall audit plan and RSM audit methodology.
• Identify accounting and auditing issues and discuss them with the audit in-charge.
• Assist with preparation of audit reports and management letters.
• Exercise professional skepticism, judgment, and adhere to the code of ethics during engagements.
• Ensure engagement documentation complies with firm quality standards.
• Coordinate development and execution of the audit work plan and client deliverables.

What you'll need

• Bachelors in Commerce.
• For non-qualified candidates: 1 year of relevant experience.
• For CA/ACCA/CPA qualified candidates: 0-1 years of relevant experience.
• Strong data analytical skills, including advanced Excel (Vlookups, pivot tables, basic formulas), plus Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication (English).
• Understanding of clients’ needs and expectations, business and industry context, accounting/control systems, and GAAP/GAAS issues.

Nice to have

• CA/ACCA/CPA freshers who have successfully achieved certification.
