Assurance Associate 2 - Construction & Government Contracting

Overview

Assurance Associate 2 (Construction & Government Contracting) providing timely, high-quality audit client service and supporting audit engagements end-to-end.

What you'll do

• Perform audit procedures and tests according to the overall audit plan and firm methodology.
• Develop and demonstrate understanding of the RSM US audit approach, methodology, and tools.
• Identify accounting and auditing issues and discuss them with the audit in-charge.
• Assist the engagement team with preparation of audit reports and management letters.
• Ensure work documentation is compliant with the firm quality standards.
• Coordinate development and execution of the audit work plan and client deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with audit professionals, supervisors, and senior management daily.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s in Commerce.
• CA qualified, ACCA/CPA qualified with 0–1 years relevant experience.
• Non-qualified option: 1 year of relevant experience (relevant experience for the role).
• Strong data analytical skills, including advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, basic formulas), plus Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication.
