Assurance Supervisor 1 - Investment Funds

Overview

Assurance Supervisor 1 for Investment Funds, supporting audit engagements as part of client engagement teams and supervising associates.

What you'll do

• Provide timely, high-quality client service on audit engagements.
• Develop client relationships to understand and solve complex business and challenge areas.
• Perform audit procedures and tests following the RSM audit methodology and overall audit plan, with proper documentation.
• Identify risks and accounting/auditing issues and discuss them with engagement teams.
• Research technical accounting issues and prepare audit reports and management letters.
• Provide supervision, training, and development for associates.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s in Commerce.
• 6+ years relevant experience if Non-qualified.
• CA qualified + 4 years relevant experience.
• ACCA/CPA qualified + 5 years relevant experience.
• Strong technical accounting skills including GAAP and GAAS.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication.

Nice to have

• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, basic formulas), plus Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience in the Investment Funds industry.

Details

• Frequent communications with RSM International clients and United States-based engagement teams.
• Must understand and demonstrate the RSM US audit approach, methodology, and tools.
