Safeguards Enforcement Analyst, Radiological & Nuclear Harms

Overview

Enforcement Analyst focused on radiological and nuclear harms, responsible for enforcing usage policies and strengthening safeguards through monitoring, investigation, and automation.

What you'll do

• Enforce usage policies to detect and mitigate radiological and nuclear risks.
• Own enforcement monitoring workflows for this harm area end-to-end.
• Monitor and analyze platform activity to identify emerging radiological and nuclear threat patterns.
• Design and architect automated enforcement systems and review workflows.
• Conduct investigations of potential violations and document evidence for enforcement decisions.
• Partner across Policy, Threat Intelligence, Data Science, and Engineering to optimize detection and contribute to risk assessment.
• Provide enforcement-grounded feedback on policy gaps and handle escalations.

What you'll need

• Undergraduate degree in a physics- or nuclear-related field and/or relevant professional experience.
• Experience in Trust & Safety, content moderation, or policy enforcement at platform scale.
• Experience working with generative AI tools to refine and optimize content review/enforcement workflows.
• Experience using AI tools to develop data dashboards for metrics collection.
• Ability to make well-reasoned decisions under time pressure in ambiguous situations.
• Clear written communication and ability to translate technical radiological/nuclear concepts for diverse audiences.

• Shared on-call responsibility across the Policy and Enforcement teams.
• May be exposed to explicit sexual, violent, or psychologically disturbing content.
• Location-based hybrid: expected in an office at least 25% of the time.
