Audit and Assurance - Digital Assurance – Associate 2

Overview

As a Digital Assurance Associate, you will support audit and assurance work focused on clients’ digital environments, including processes and controls, cybersecurity measures, data and AI systems, and related governance.

What you'll do

• Support digital assurance engagements focused on client technology environments, internal controls, cybersecurity measures, data systems, and governance processes.
• Gather information from system documentation, process walkthroughs, and stakeholder discussions to evaluate risks and control design.
• Perform testing procedures over IT controls, application controls, and data quality checks using audit and validation methods.
• Review evidence related to cloud platforms, artificial intelligence systems, and other digital tools to identify control gaps and process issues.
• Document findings clearly and organize workpapers that align with professional and technical standards.
• Interpret data from multiple sources to identify patterns, exceptions, and areas that need further follow up.
• Apply knowledge of compliance requirements, regulatory guidance, and governance frameworks in day-to-day client work.
• Collaborate with senior team members to support project tasks, respond to changing client needs, and deliver reliable work.

What you'll need

• Minimum 2-4 experience in the domains mentioned in the job description.
• Knowledge in SOC 1 & SOC 2 testing/SOX 404.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering with specialization in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems or Information Technology.
• Understanding of audit concepts and regulations.

Nice to have

• Candidates with “Big 4” or equivalent experience would be preferred.
