Automation Engineer working on mainframe modernization by designing, building, and maintaining business logic and refactoring legacy code for cloud and mobile interaction.
What you'll do
- Monitor mainframe architecture and optimize code to maintain and enhance performance.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions to keep applications running.
- Extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services.
- Develop and maintain enterprise-grade automation frameworks, modules, playbooks, templates, and libraries.
- Build and manage scalable container platforms using Docker and orchestration technologies.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
What you'll need
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale automation solutions using Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
- Experience building and managing scalable container platforms using Docker and container orchestration technologies.
- Experience designing and maintaining enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Ability to automate server provisioning, application deployment, configuration management, and operational workflows.
- Ability to integrate enterprise tools and third-party platforms using REST APIs, web services, and automation connectors.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex deployment, integration, and infrastructure issues across enterprise environments.
