Automation Engineer

Overview

As an Automation Engineer, you will deliver engineering solutions that support project execution while working with design, development, and production teams. The role is intended for an early-career engineer developing technical expertise and contributing to engineering quality and project delivery.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement engineering procedures, techniques, and work sequences that improve quality, productivity, and project outcomes.
• Perform engineering analyses and apply scientific principles to create and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with design, development, and production teams to keep engineering activities aligned with project schedules and delivery targets.
• Support and coordinate engineering work, including overseeing subcontracted engineering activities when required.
• Identify project risks, ensure quality requirements are met, and implement processes that support successful project delivery.
• Coach and support colleagues in your area of expertise.
• Work independently on assigned tasks while following established engineering processes and standards.
• Apply attention to detail, effective collaboration, sound problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality and project delivery.

What you'll need

• A degree or relevant education in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Chemical, Electronic, Process, Systems, or a related field.
• Less than 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
• Comfort working with cross-functional teams and supporting project delivery in a structured environment.
• A solid foundation in engineering principles.
• A strong willingness to learn and grow.
