Automation QA Engineer -AS

Overview

Automation QA Engineer (Associate) responsible for driving automated execution of testing plans and deliverables to ensure quality and efficiency.

What you'll do

• Design and develop automated test scripts and frameworks using Python and SQL.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub workflows and Jenkins.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to build a robust automation suite.
• Analyze test results and improve test coverage, traceability, and efficiency.
• Understand and contribute to an existing test framework written in Spark and BDD.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test code quality.

What you'll need

• 3-6 years of experience in test automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python (e.g., pytest, great_expectations, pandas).
• Ability to write complex SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience with version control such as Git and CI/CD tools like GitHub workflows and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
