QA Test Engineer

Overview

QA Test Engineer in Huron’s Software Engineering team in India, responsible for ensuring software, hardware, applications, and services meet organizational and end-user requirements.

What you'll do

• Carry out procedures to ensure software, hardware, applications, and services meet standards and end-user requirements.
• Analyze and test software and application configuration against design specifications and quality limits.
• Participate across the SDLC, including helping develop quality standards and test cases.
• Develop, modify, and execute test plans and test suites, and document process and test outcomes.
• Communicate with product developers and technical support specialists on software issues.
• Automate regression tests and help ensure code quality.

What you'll need

• 1-3 years working in a QA/testing role.
• Education: a bachelor’s degree in computer science/computer information systems or equivalent experience.
• Salesforce knowledge including functionalities, components, and modules (e.g., Service Cloud, Flows, validation rules).
• Hands-on test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Tosca, Apex Test Framework, and Cypress or WebDriver IO.
• Proficiency with relevant programming languages like Selenium (Java).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps workflows.
• Experience with defect tracking tools like Azure DevOps or Jira (or relevant test management tools).

• Reports to the Corporate IT Manager in India.
• Works with Software Development and Corporate IT resources based in India and the US.
• Works with teams across multiple time zones and geographic locations.
• Location: Bangalore, Outer Ring Road, India.
