Automation QA Engineer

Overview

Automation QA Engineer focused on strengthening quality engineering for UI and API testing.

What you'll do

• Design, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing using Selenium/Playwright.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium/Playwright in Java.
• Develop and execute automated regression, smoke, and functional test suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify gaps and suggest process/framework improvements and best practices adoption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and improve coverage.
• Manage test cases, execution results, and reporting in TestRail.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives.

What you'll need

• 03–05 years of experience in QA automation and Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and Playwright for UI automation.
• API testing experience using Postman or REST Assured.
• Experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and TestRail (or similar test management tools).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
