Automation QA Test Engineer

Overview

Automation QA Test Engineer for the Single Sign-On Services Engineering team in Pune. Lead and implement automated testing frameworks and strategies focused on quality, security, and scalability.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and coverage goals with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and run end-to-end, regression, performance, and security tests.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and help resolve issues.
• Maintain test data, environments, and reusable automation components.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation and QA best practices.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of automation testing experience for enterprise-grade applications.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress (or similar frameworks).
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test scripting.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or Karate.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
