  • Collaborate with development, business, and infrastructure teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Consult with users, clients, and technology teams on application issues and recommend programming, testing, and deployment solutions.
  • Apply programming and automation knowledge to develop technical solutions, test scripts, utilities, and reusable components that improve development and quality processes.
  • Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities, security concerns, performance issues, and functional defects, and conduct testing, debugging, and root cause analysis.
  • Contribute to UI development and support front-end enhancements where required to meet business and regulatory commitments.
  • Provide manual testing support and serve as backup for critical testing activities to ensure delivery continuity during resource absences or peak release periods.
  • Monitor release quality metrics and proactively identify risks that may impact production stability, regulatory compliance, or delivery timelines.
  • Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts and promote testing and engineering best practices across the team.
  • Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgments to recommend and implement practical solutions.
  • Resolve issues by applying technical expertise, engineering standards, and established precedents.
  • Operate with limited direct supervision and exercise independent judgment in decision-making.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for application quality, automation testing, CI/CD processes, and release management practices.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
