AVP - Tax

Overview

AVP - Tax provides corporate and indirect tax advisory and compliance support for business areas in a specific jurisdiction(s), including tax risk management and liaison with tax authorities.

What you'll do

• Manage tax risks from business activities, investments, and financial transactions.
• Analyze complex tax issues to support tax planning, compliance, and risk management initiatives.
• Liaise with tax authorities and resolve legacy tax risks.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate potential tax risks in complex transactions (e.g., M&A, restructuring).
• Prepare or review tax returns and agree compliance positions with tax authorities.
• Prepare or review tax accounting calculations and disclosures for group forecasting, reporting, and stress testing.

What you'll need

• Qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Experience in the field of taxation.
• Experience working in an MNC or Big 4 covering GSC clients for tax advisory.
• In-depth knowledge of tax matters.
• Good networking skills and people management skills.

• Location: Mumbai, Nirlon Knowledge Park (BX) 9th & 11-12 floor.
• Role based out of Mumbai.
