Azure/AWS Architect-Banking - Manager

Overview

Manager role for an Azure/AWS Architect within PwC’s Data and Analytics Engineering group, leading the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions for banking clients.

What you'll do

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures using Azure and AWS.
• Manage data engineering projects supporting client data modernization initiatives.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and workflows using Apache Airflow and Azure Data Factory.
• Oversee integration and transformation of data into data lakes and warehouses.
• Implement database management and optimization for performance and security.
• Coach and mentor junior staff on technical and project management capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in data engineering solutions.

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree.
• At least 4 years of experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English required.
• Proficiency in AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience using data engineering platforms like Apache Hadoop and Databricks.
• Skills in data architecture and data integration strategies.

Nice to have

• Preference for at least one field of study among the listed options (e.g., MIS, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering).
