Job description
Overview
Senior Associate for Engineering in Azure, AWS, and DBT, leading data engineering process transformation within PwC’s Data and Analytics Engineering group.
What you'll do
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable data engineering solutions using Azure and AWS.
- Manage data pipelines and workflows using Apache Airflow and Azure Data Factory.
- Develop and optimize data architectures for integration and transformation.
- Build and maintain data warehouses and lakes with data quality and security checks.
- Use Databricks and Snowflake to enhance data analytics capabilities.
- Mentor junior team members and maintain professional and technical standards.
What you'll need
- At least a Bachelor's degree.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- 4+ years of experience working in Azure ADLS, Data Bricks, Data Flows, HDInsight, and Azure Analysis services.
- Hadoop and Spark experience is mandatory.
- Experience extracting data from source systems including flat files, XML, JSON, and Parquet.
- Good knowledge of Big Data frameworks and related technologies.
