[Backend, Onsite] Software Engineering Intern

Overview

Software Engineering Intern (Backend, Onsite) to build and improve backend systems, including serverless components on AWS and AI feature integrations.

What you'll do

• Contribute to system design discussions through internal design and implementation conversations.
• Build real backend solutions with guidance from concept to production.
• Develop scalable backend components using serverless architectures on AWS.
• Help create proof-of-concepts for backend + AI feature integrations, from model output to real-time inference.
• Work with engineers building the AI-native platform to understand end-to-end backend architecture for AI features.
• Dig in with the team to make systems faster and more resilient when something breaks.

What you'll need

• Must be able and willing to work from the Bangalore office in person.
• Be pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a Tier 1 college.
• Have strong programming fundamentals in a modern language.
• Have at least one prior internship in a relevant engineering or backend/AI role.
• Show genuine interest in distributed systems, serverless computing, and AI-powered product features.
• Demonstrate sharp problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Show eagerness to learn how backend architecture supports AI from model training to real-time inference.

Nice to have

• Open-source contributions or backend/AI project experience.
