Benchmarking Analyst - Realized Prices

Overview

Benchmarking Analyst (Realized Prices) role in Chevron ENGINE’s Innovation team, based in Bengaluru.

What you'll do

• Collect, validate, and normalize competitor realized price data from internal and external sources.
• Benchmark Chevron’s crude, gas, LNG, NGL, and product realizations against peers.
• Analyze drivers of price premiums and discounts (quality, geography, contracts, market exposure).
• Quantify performance gaps and value opportunities versus top-performing peers.
• Develop competitive targets and support business performance improvement efforts.
• Deliver executive-ready insights, reports, and recommendations to stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 5–10 years of industry experience in a service provider, refinery, or full-service consulting within downstream/midstream and/or chemicals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in data analysis, benchmarking, or business performance measurement.
• Advanced fluency in financial analysis with experience in product economics and financial modelling.
• Familiarity with public company data (e.g., SEC reports) to develop insights.
• Experience with third-party data sources such as S&P Global, Opis, Solomon, or equivalent providers.
