Overview
Environmental Reporting Analyst role supporting environmental compliance for Shale & Tight Operations Assets through data collection, analysis, internal reporting, and preparation of external reporting.
What you'll do
- Perform data analysis on environmental regulations for air, water, and waste for Shale & Tight compliance.
- Ensure data collection practices comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and standards.
- Prepare reports demonstrating compliance with environmental permits and regulations.
- Record and organize collected data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with internal teams to compile data for assurance and reporting.
- Develop and maintain systems for tracking environmental performance and compliance metrics.
- Conduct quality reviews of environmental data and report issues or gaps.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental reporting, compliance, or permitting in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong experience working in data analysis tools and software including Excel, SEEQ, and PowerBi.
- Ability to provide environmental guidance to internal customers such as operations, maintenance, capital projects, technical, and HSE teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex datasets for compliance.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to present findings to stakeholders.
Details
- Reports to the Environmental Team Lead in Chevron ENGINE in Bengaluru, India.
- Standard work week Monday to Friday; work hours 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1:30pm to 10:30pm.
