Benefits Operations Administrator

Overview

Benefits Operations Administrator (BOA) processes client benefit plan activities, resolving participant issues and meeting client SLAs with accuracy and timeliness.

What you'll do

• Process activities related to client benefits plans with high accuracy and timeliness.
• Execute wealth delivery processes according to documented SOPs.
• Meet or exceed client service level agreements (SLAs).
• Use a case management tool to research, resolve, and respond to participant issues and inquiries.
• Document work completed and provide daily updates in assigned task management tools such as Jira.
• Perform quality checks, remediation support, and take part in corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Technology, and other shared services teams for issue resolution.

What you'll need

• 1–2 years of experience in US pension/401k/payroll administration preferred.
• US pension, 401k, and payroll processing skills.
• Process documentation and SOP creation skills.
• Accountability and ownership.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF formulas, pivot tables).

Nice to have

• Experience with AI tools in a professional setting preferred.
