BestDrive Service Technician (EG)

Overview

BestDrive Service Technician performs commercial vehicle and medium truck tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and repairs, including off-the-road equipment service.

What you'll do

• Mount, dismount, and install tires and tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load and unload tires on and off trucks.
• Repair tires by determining repairable tire conditions.
• Inspect tires and wheels before and after service using established procedures.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools.
• Perform emergency road service calls on nights and/or weekends on a rotating basis.
• Document work performed accurately according to company policy.

What you'll need

• Be 18 years or older.
• Hold a valid Driver’s License.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Communicate verbally and in writing clearly and professionally with coworkers and management.
• Be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship.
• Have the ability to work both in a team and independently.

Nice to have

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of tire service technician experience.
• CDL License.
• TIA certification.

Details

• Work hours generally 7-5 Monday–Friday, with Saturdays/evenings as needed.
• Work involves indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to heat and cold.
• Regularly stands, bends, climbs, lifts, and walks.
• Must lift 75-100 lbs routinely; may occasionally lift up to 150 lbs.
• Must handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
