Billing Associate 1

Overview

Billing Associate to support RSM’s Finance team by proactively processing billing transactions for assigned primary billers and ensuring timely, accurate invoicing.

What you'll do

• Initiate the bi-monthly billing process for assigned primary billers.
• Review and recommend billing amounts based on billing arrangements and engagement documents.
• Review aged WIP to control outstanding balances and identify billing opportunities.
• Ensure client folder data attributes and status follow firm best practices.
• Escalate billing issues to the appropriate billing leadership when needed.
• Investigate billing issues and process invoice adjustments to maintain invoice and margin accuracy.

What you'll need

• 1 to 4 years of relevant experience.
• B.com or business management graduate.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong Excel skills preferred.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with diverse audiences.
• Detail oriented.
• Prior professional billing experience for professional services firm(s) is heavily preferred.
