BIM Engineer II / Senior BIM Engineer (OBD - Structure)

Overview

Mid to Senior BIM Engineer role focused on building structures BIM modeling and drawing production using OpenBuildings Designer (OBD) and MicroStation.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for building structures using OpenBuildings Designer (OBD).
• Produce structural drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and details using MicroStation and OBD.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure model accuracy and integration.
• Prepare construction documentation and model outputs aligned to project milestones.
• Support model reviews, clash detection support, and quality assurance checks against standards.
• Manage BIM data, model information, and drawing deliverables.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance on MicroStation and OBD modeling.

What you'll need

• Expertise in MicroStation.
• Expertise in OpenBuildings Designer (OBD).
• Ability to coordinate model accuracy and design integration with structural engineers, architects, and design teams.
• Experience producing structural drawing sets using MicroStation and OBD.
• Working knowledge of BIM execution plans and project requirements/industry standards.
• Ability to support clash detection and quality assurance checks.
