Bodily Injury Adjuster - Represented, Moderate (OH/CT) Remote

Overview

Investigate and resolve represented automobile bodily injury claims involving attorney or litigation matters. Work remotely while assessing coverage, liability, damages, and injury settlements.

What you'll do

• Investigate single- and multiple-vehicle accidents.
• Assess coverage, liability, property damage, and bodily injury.
• Communicate with customers, attorneys, vendors, carriers, and claimants by phone, email, text, and video.
• Evaluate and negotiate fair, timely claim settlements.
• Handle a high volume of pending cases independently.
• Document claim activity accurately in claims systems.
• Use estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to evaluate claims.

What you'll need

• Prior represented third-party casualty claim handling experience.
• Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, liability determination, and state regulations.
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage time and work independently in a remote setting.
• Ability to work in the Eastern or Central Time Zones.
• Ability to obtain required adjuster or appraiser licenses within 60 days, where applicable.

Nice to have

• Two to five years of moderate bodily injury claim handling experience.
• Ohio or Connecticut claims experience.
• First-party collision and third-party property damage claims experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Details

• Remote position.
• Annual compensation: $53,500–$84,625 USD.
• Not available to residents of California, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
