Building Structural Designer Engineer

Overview

Building Structural BIM Engineer/Modeler for large-scale building projects, with a focus on structural BIM modeling and clash-free deliverables.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain structural BIM models using Revit in line with project standards.
• Prepare structural drawings, construction documentation, and BIM deliverables.
• Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and other stakeholders to ensure model accuracy and design integration.
• Perform clash detection and model reviews using Navisworks.
• Plan and support BIM execution across project lifecycles.
• Manage collaboration using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in Structural BIM Modeling for building projects.
• Hands-on experience with commercial building, airport, and hospital projects.
• Exposure to Canadian and/or U.S. building projects (mandatory).
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Structural), including advanced-level modeling.
• Use Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
• Use Bluebeam Revu for document review and markup.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of North American building codes and standards.
• Experience with BIM Level 2 workflows and common data environments.
