Business Advisory Associate

Overview

Business Advisory Associate role focused on loan servicing operations across commercial loan portfolios.

What you'll do

• Perform daily servicing activities for bilateral and participation loans, including fundings, renewals, paydowns, interest capitalization, and rate adjustments.
• Execute loan servicing events such as rate resets, billing, payments, advances, and draw downs.
• Maintain accurate updates in servicing systems including Loan IQ, AFS, ACBS, or nCino (or equivalent).
• Manage participation and syndicated loan servicing for both agented and non-agented structures, including fund flows between institutions.
• Validate loan setups, amendments, and servicing data against executed agreements and maintain servicing records for audit readiness.
• Ensure compliance with loan documentation, credit approvals, and system controls, and escalate discrepancies or potential control breaches.

What you'll need

• 1 to 3 years of experience.
• Degree in BBA, BCom, or MBA.
• Knowledge/skills related to banking services and core banking design.
• Ability to perform account reconciliations and quality control checks for onboarding backups.
• Good written and verbal communication for emailing clients/closers for deals.
• Adaptable and flexible with problem-solving skills and commitment to quality.
