Accounts Receivable Associate - Chennai

Overview

Accounts Receivable (AR) Associate / AR Specialist responsible for reviewing customer accounts, ensuring proper billing, and collecting payments on time while supporting AR process quality.

What you'll do

• Review each account to determine an approach to the customer and execute a plan to bring in maximum revenue.
• Direct the AR team and coordinate with internal departments to ensure accounts are properly billed and payments collected on time.
• Review account information, correct discrepancies, and resolve payment-related customer queries.
• Manage billing and payment escalations and ensure resolutions meet the business time frame.
• Send payment reminders on time and complete follow-ups as per process.
• Create and maintain AR trackers, dashboards, monthly tracking, and KPIs; update records on payments and account statuses.
• Create SOPs for AR processes and update them at regular intervals.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of work experience in a similar field.
• Experience in US voice collections for B2B.
• Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.
