Overview

Business Advisory Senior Analyst in Supplier Warranty Recovery (SWR), recovering warranty-related costs from suppliers when a supplier-owned component contributes to a field failure.

What you'll do

• Recover warranty-related costs from suppliers when a supplier-owned component contributes to a field failure.
• Perform technical claim assessment and determine supplier liability.
• Conduct supplier negotiations and manage supplier interactions.
• Interpret warranty agreements and manage warranty agreement management.
• Conduct root cause analysis and failure analysis.
• Handle appeals management and part return coordination.
• Manage financial recovery and optimize recovery operations.
• Use analytics and data-driven decision-making to minimize warranty spend and improve supplier recovery.
• Work closely with OEM Warranty Teams, Suppliers, Technical Analysis Centers (TAC), Quality Teams, Engineering Teams, Purchasing Teams and Supplier Recovery Leadership (L3).

What you'll need

• Advance Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5 to 8 years of experience.
• Experience in warranty claim management, supplier recovery, technical failure analysis, supplier negotiations and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to determine supplier liability, interpret warranty agreements, conduct root cause analysis, manage supplier interactions and handle appeals and part returns.
• Experience utilizing tools such as SAP, Supplier Portal and Qlik Sense.
• Communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Skill areas: Supply Chain - Warranty Management; Automotive Warranty; Mechanical Engineering; Supplier Management.
