Business Analyst-1

Overview

Business Analyst with healthcare domain expertise to bridge business needs and technology solutions for healthcare projects, including payer/provider systems, EHR/EMR, and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility studies.
• Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement walkthroughs.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure successful delivery.
• Manage change requests and maintain requirement traceability.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, IT, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Healthcare domain.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems (Payer/Provider).
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards such as HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, ICD/CPT coding.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar.

Nice to have

• Experience in US Healthcare domain.
• Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA.
• Exposure to data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, Power BI).
• Knowledge of claims processing, eligibility, billing, or clinical workflows.
