Platform Business Analyst-Servicenow

Overview

Entry-level Business Analyst role on the Business Workflow Platform, assisting with requirement gathering, supporting project objectives, and performing routine data analysis under the guidance of more experienced analysts.

What you'll do

• Operate within well-defined, routine tasks under close supervision, focusing on continuous learning and adherence to established business analysis principles, frameworks, and standards.
• Execute work within existing templates and processes, proactively seeking clarification and collaborating effectively with team members.
• Support senior Business Analysts in analyzing business problems within a defined scope, contributing to problem definition and identifying potential root causes under guidance.
• Elicit and clarify stakeholder needs, analyze and map requirements, and assist in identifying and presenting basic solutions.
• Complete assigned discrete tasks on time and to quality, delivering clearly documented requirements.
• Identify primary team members and internal stakeholders within a project, interacting closely with agile team members working on IT solutions.
• Act as a supportive communicator and information gatherer, assisting in preparing basic project updates and capturing stakeholder feedback.
• Support the analysis and documentation of requirements for specific features or functionalities, working typically at a single solution level.

What you'll need

• Entry-level experience with a focus on assisting with requirement gathering, supporting project objectives, and performing routine data analysis under guidance.
• Demonstrated eagerness for continuous learning and adherence to established business analysis principles, frameworks, and standards.
• Basic understanding and application of tools, principles, concepts, and techniques related to requirements, data, usability, and process analysis.
• Foundational understanding of the relevant business or technical domain and supporting technologies.
• Demonstrated foundational awareness of how different parts of the organization interact.
• Strong collaborative skills, with a readiness to act as an escalation assistant and proactively seek clarification from team members.
