Business Analytics Analyst - Python SQL

Overview

A developing Business Analytics Analyst role applying specialty knowledge to monitor, assess, analyze and evaluate processes and data, identify policy gaps, and recommend improvements to business decisions.

What you'll do

• Gather operational data from cross-functional stakeholders to examine past business performance.
• Identify data patterns and trends, and provide insights to enhance business decision making in business planning, process improvement and solution assessment.
• Recommend actions for future developments and strategic business opportunities, and enhancements to operational policies.
• May be involved in exploratory data analysis, confirmatory data analysis and/or qualitative analysis.
• Translate data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies.
• Communicate findings clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders.
• Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools and capabilities.
• Work closely with internal and external business partners to build, implement, track and improve decision strategies.
• Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What you'll need

• 2-4 years relevant experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work with cross-functional partners and team members.
• Proficient in Python.
• Proficient in PySpark.
• Proficient in advanced SQL.
• Proficient in GEN AI tools.
• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
